Gigem Aggies!!!!

Ok---Davis and I can finally hold our heads up high and proudly wear our maroon and white. After five years, the Aggies have defeated the Longhorns in the traditional football game. Davis enjoys the maroon and white, but he still keeps peace in the family with some orange and white. Davis does not know the difference or seem to care, but we sure do have fun with it!!! Whoop/Texas Fight/ Gig'em Aggies/Hook'em Horns!!!

Basket Fun!!!

Davis was having a hard time sitting up without falling over and bashing his head. Therefore, Nannie devised a plan of keeping Davis safe from injury----the basket. Davis loves to sit in his basket with all his goods and play, play, play. What a smart idea, thanks Nannie.

Watch Me Grow---Seven Months Old

Davis hit the seven month mark and for some reason everytime the camera flash went off, the reflex was to put his hand in his mouth. He is getting big--weighing around 19 pounds and height of 28 inches.

It's the simple things in life

Davis has discovered the true joy of wooden spoons. He can play for hours in his highchair--what a great break for me :) (All I rememeber about wooden spoons growing up was they were not a tool of joy, but pain: often used as a paddle for the bottom)

Some good old fashion family fun

Our trip to Michigan was a blast!!! Davis got to meet the whole family and enjoyed the sights and sounds. We are looking forward to going back real soon. Here everyone is getting to know Davis better--what fun, what fun!!!

Fall Festivities

What fun we had for the first fall season. Between carving the pumpkin (Dad did most of the work, Davis just wanted to eat the seeds) and romping in the newly fallen leaves in Nana's front yard (Mom did most of the romping, Davis just sat--but look how cute he is in his winter hat) fun times were had by all. We are looking forward to winter and the holiday season.
